2012. Live at The King Arthur, Glastonbury..

The King Arthur, Glastonbury, 4th August, 2012...

I toggled down to Glastonbury in comfort, John Hawkins doing the driving (and controlling the in-car playlist) and we arrived in good time to share a burger with James before the gig. I had spent the previous day printing and folding the sleeves for the new Planet Avalon (Gotterfunken Vol.3) CD and had 50 CDs ready for the public, on a first come, first basis of course. I set up my best video camera on a shelf just below the ceiling and central to the band area. I kept my other camera hand-held to zoom about a little. The one that only records audio on one channel. The band were solid, good songs and very watchable. This would be good video!

The set flew by. We caught a brief chat with James and drove back north, taking the Glastonbury through Bristol route. Never do that, it is so slow. On the Sunday I loaded up the software to download the footage and bam. The front and centre camera had nothing! How do I do that?

Somehow I have managed to create a video of the gig to an acceptable level (I hope you agree). Below you have a taster in "Immortal Ground". You also have a link out to YouTube to watch the full gig, from the comfort of - well, wherever you are. More Druidspear gigs please.
